Local celebrity racing driver Oliver Jarvis presents Manchetts Golden ticket prize winner with a full tank of fuel & a hamper.

Oliver Jarvis local racing driver celebrity presents Manchetts Grand prize draw winner with a full tank of fuel and a hamper!



Manchetts celebrated their 50 years in business on July 1st with a golden ticket worth £25 in fuel for every 50th customer and as they had 30 winners all were then put into a further grand draw for a full tank of fuel and a hamper from the Budgens store.
Mr Martin Claydon from Burwell won and today was presented with a full tank of fuel by local Burwell celebrity Oliver Jarvis who is a professional works driver for Audi Sport Team Abt, We all thank Oliver for presenting our prize and wish him all the best for his home race at Brands Hatch this weekend.
Martin Claydon is a local Burwell man & Mrs Anne Manchett said
“ its super Martin has won, he has been a customer for 38 years! We know him well and his son Daren is a technician at Manchetts Commercials so it really is a family affair!”
Manchetts hopes to continue to service the local community for may years to come and all the family and staff are proud to be part of a business that is celebrating its 50th anniversary.


Three generations of Manchetts family in Burwell are celebrating 50 years in business. The Manchett Family are proud to own the oldest Jet fuel station in the country, which has been owned since July 1st 1961. The Jet forecourt , Budgens and car workshop on Ness road employs over 40 people and the forecourt has as average footfall of 1000 people a day.
